Donald Trump just gave something important away
As the American death toll in the coronavirus crisis nears twenty thousand, you’d think Donald Trump would be focused on trying to do something about it. Or even if you want to think in Trump’s narcissistic terms, you’d think he’d be trying to do something to boost his sinking approval rating, considering he’s not currently on track to even come close to winning the election.
Instead, Donald Trump keeps reminding us that, even with the nation falling apart, and his own odds of going to prison rising by the day, he’s more lost in the weeds than ever. Trump is spending his day today focused on generically attacking the nation’s two most respected newspapers, without bothering to say which story or stories he thinks are fake:
When the Failing New York Times or Amazon Washington Post writes a story saying “unnamed sources said”, or any such phrase where a person’s name is not used, don’t believe them. Most of these unnamed sources don’t exist. They are made up to defame & disparage. They have no “source.” Does anyone ever notice how few quotes from an actual person are given nowadays by the Lamestream Media. Very seldom. The unnamed or anonymous sources are almost always FAKE NEWS.
This gives you an idea of where Donald Trump’s head is. Trump is giving away that has no strategy right now for trying to turn around his sinking prospects, or any awareness that he needs a coherent strategy, or any familiarity with what coherence looks like. He’ll keep trying new schemes to try to flip things in his favor. We just need to be vigilant and work hard to defeat him.
