Donald Trump Jr proves he’s even more of an idiot than we thought
In addition to everything far more important that’s wrong with Donald Trump, he’s also semi-literate at best. Just today he got “crisis” confused with “crises,” and yesterday he confused “there” with “their.” He also thinks “global waming” is a thing. But it turns out Donald Trump Jr is even more functionally illiterate than his father is.
Donald Trump Jr spent today doing what he usually does, which is to take blatantly false tweets from far-right lunatics and retweet them for emphasis. This time Junior quoted a tweet which spread absurd lies about the Democratic Party’s views on health insurance and abortion. Junior then added this commentary of his own: “It’s almost like a funny version of an S&L skit.” Wait, what?
That’s right, Donald Trump Jr thinks that “Saturday Night Live” is abbreviated “S&L.” This isn’t a mere typo. You have to use the shift key to create the “&” sign, so it’s not as if he did this unintentionally. When this guy hears people saying “SNL” he truly must think they’re saying “S&L” – which means he’s too illiterate and stupid to figure out that “SNL” is short for “Saturday Night Live.”
This is, of course, the least of Donald Trump Jr’s problems. He’s on the verge of being indicted and arrested on felony charges ranging from perjury to espionage. But his “S&L” debacle is a reminder of just how proudly arrogant this guy is of his own ignorance – just like his father.
