Donald Trump Jr has complete on-air meltdown after Donald Trump blows it
All you have to do is look at the debate poll numbers – which show a clear victory for Joe Biden – to see that whatever Donald Trump was trying to accomplish during the debate, he failed. One of Trump’s tactics involved hurling vicious (and in some instances flatly false) personal attacks at Hunter Biden, in the hope of throwing Joe Biden off his game.
When Donald Trump began ranting about Hunter Biden’s past drug addiction, Joe Biden eloquently explained how proud he is of Hunter for having overcome it. Most of us in Joe’s position would have simply fired back by pointing out that Donald Trump Jr has appeared to be coked out of his mind during his recent public appearances, but Joe Biden showed true presidential leadership by declining to make that particular personal attack.
Now Donald Trump Jr is showing his, ahem, appreciation for Joe Biden’s restraint by going on the air and having a meltdown about “crackhead Hunter” Biden. This is surreal when you consider Trump Jr’s own seeming drug troubles of late. Perhaps Junior is simply projecting his own problems onto his adversaries, as his father so consistently does. In any case, the Trumps don’t appear to be looking to win – they just want to make things as ugly as possible on their way down.
