– Let’s check in to see how Donald Trump Jr is doing while he’s quarantining with coronavirus… and he’s encouraging small business owners to harass health inspectors. It looks like infected Trump Jr is roughly the same level of bonkers as regular Trump Jr.
– By leaking his Tony Blinken pick for Secretary of State tonight, Joe Biden has made sure to put a dent in Trump’s attempt at hijacking Monday’s news cycle with whatever dead-end Michigan stunt he’s planning. Biden is simply savvier at this stuff than Trump is.
– Twelve Republican senators (out of 53) and six Republican governors (out of 26) have admitted it’s over and Joe Biden has won. These numbers are embarrassing for the GOP. They’re also terrible numbers for Trump. He needed 100% participation for an illusion like this to work.
– If we could all set aside our usual routine of lamenting about “damage” and “norms” and “institutions” for a minute and pay attention to what’s actually happening, we’d see that Trump is self destructing and the GOP is caught in his blast radius. War is hell, but we’re winning.
– Some folks who don’t understand how anything works are upset that President-elect Biden is hiring the top diplomats from the Obama administration. Come on, they’re the most highly qualified people around. Who did they want him to hire, the Avengers?
