Donald Trump goes off the deep end about Robert Mueller amid reports that Donald Trump Jr could be arrested
Last night Palmer Report brought you the story of how various pundits and sources were alight with buzz that Special Counsel Robert Mueller could be on the verge of arresting Donald Trump Jr, and that one of those sources was Trump Jr’s own mouth. Now Donald Trump is going off the deep end in a manner which lends credibility to the notion.
Donald Trump hasn’t yet addressed the buzz about his son’s potentially imminent arrest. However, Trump is flying off the handle about Robert Mueller. After word surfaced of a bipartisan effort to protect Mueller, Trump posted this juvenile tweet: “Jeff Flake(y) doesn’t want to protect the Non-Senate confirmed Special Counsel, he wants to protect his future after being unelectable in Arizona for the “crime” of doing a terrible job! A weak and ineffective guy!” Then it got weirder.
Trump went on to claim that the “so-called Mueller Investigation” has a low approval rating. Trump was merely stating one outlier poll, but the larger point is that Trump somehow thinks Mueller’s approval rating should determine whether Trump is innocent or guilty. Also, Mueller’s approval rating is higher than Trump’s approval rating.
Donald Trump has become more unstable by the day since his party lost control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections. Now he’s abruptly firing Jeff Sessions, illegally trying to install a scam artist like Matthew Whitaker in his place, and going off the deep end about Robert Mueller. It’s clear that Trump expects the Mueller probe to drop a bomb on his head very soon. Is Trump indeed worried that Trump Jr is about to get busted?
