Donald Trump Jr is confused

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Here in the real world, Donald Trump Jr is the focus of a federal investigation that could lead to criminal charges including conspiracy against the United States, attempted receiving of stolen goods, perjury, espionage, possibly treason, and various financial crimes as well. Unless he can somehow beat the mountain of evidence against him at trial, he’s going to spend the rest of his life in prison. But in Junior’s fantasy world, he seems to be rather confused.

Donald Trump Jr is now throwing a fit because social networking site Instagram has supposedly added a disclaimer when people search for his name which reads “Posts with words or tags you’re searching for often encourage behavior that can cause harm and even lead to death.” We’re not exactly sure why people need to be warned about this when seeking him out on social media; it feels a bit like the warning on a hair dryer that says “Caution: Hot.”

But it’s understandable why Instagram would take this kind of step. While Donald Trump Jr is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law, all the evidence suggests that he’s literally a traitor. Again, he’s under federal criminal investigation for having conspired with a foreign government to try to alter the outcome of the U.S. Presidential election, and we don’t even have to say “allegedly” because he was dumb enough to release his own emails which prove it.

Yet Donald Trump Jr isn’t focused on the extreme likelihood that he’ll end up sentenced to hundreds of years in prison (for reference, Paul Manafort is facing three hundred and five years in prison). Instead, Junior is apparently in such a delusional place that he thinks he’s some kind of rock star who’s being singled out by a social media network for no reason. He doesn’t seem to get that he’s a traitor, he’s been caught, and his life is likely over. He’s in for a real wake up call when the indictment comes down and the handcuffs are slapped on him.
