Joy Reid just nailed it
Joy Reid has started off with a bang in MSNBC primetime, dominating her time slot in the ratings across all cable news networks. That’s with good reason: she’s been consistently providing insightful political analysis on her weekend morning show for years.
Joy Reid hit on a key point during her show tonight when she ran a highlight reel – or should we saw lowlight reel – of Donald Trump’s increasingly frequent incidents in which he struggles to speak or pronounce a word. Trump’s cognitive abilities are clearly in decline, which is why Trump keeps trying to randomly insist that his opponent Joe Biden is the one who’s somehow in decline.
The real story here is that Donald Trump is falling to pieces right in front of us, as he struggles to even so much as coherently read a script that’s in front of him. We’re glad to see Joy Reid hammering home this point, and we’re hoping to hear more cable news hosts do the same. Trump has never been right in the head, but it’s getting worse, and it’s a major narrative for this election.
