Joy Reid just nailed it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

For the past couple weeks, the worst of MSNBC and CNN hosts have been as dishonest as Fox News when it comes to overhyping a supposed “Biden border crisis.” For one thing, the border issue isn’t a crisis. And it’s certainly not a “Biden crisis,” as Trump’s policies resulted in a four year long border crisis that Biden is in the process of cleaning up.

Fortunately, the better MSNBC hosts are refusing to play along with this nonsense narrative. Joy Reid, who had been on vacation, returned to the air this evening and flatly declared that this is not some new crisis.

Reid went on to point out that the shifting number of Mexicans approaching the U.S. border for asylum right now is more a result of seasonal changes, and fits the existing annual pattern. In other words, no, refugees aren’t suddenly flooding the border as a result of Biden’s policies.

Joy Reid went on to call out some particularly heinous remarks that Fox host Jeanine Pirro has been making about the border. Welcome back, Joy Reid, we’ve missed you.
