Josh Hawley is decompensating

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Josh Hawley, a man I refuse to give the title of “Senator” to, has come out with an absurd statement demanding that Attorney General Merrick Garland be removed or voluntarily offer his resignation.

Hawley, who does not appear to be aware he is a national joke, appeared on Sean Hannity’s show to make this nonsensical declaration.

In a way, it’s surprising that Hawley would even show his face in public, given that the man’s a national laughing stock and his name is nothing more now than a lame punchline.

But Hawley IS the last one to get the joke — at least as it pertains to himself.

Forcing his features into a mask of righteous indignation, the “man” declared the FBI is an abusive agency and the people who work there are in some type of plot to shield under Hunter Biden from charges.

Sigh. Paranoia WILL destroy you if you let it. I really doubt Hawley believes this, but it DOES make colorful copy, I suppose. And Trump’s fall is happening as I type these words. It stands to reason that many Republicans would be looking to take his place.

Hawley is crazy if he thinks that person would ever be him. The Hawley show was over as soon as he raised his fist in support of the insurrectionists. Now Hawley does not appear to know this, but WE do. His political aspirations are over. His career is done. His new book on “manliness” will not sell well. He should be looking for another profession.
