Donald Trump launches berserk attack on John McCain, gives something away in the process

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump long ago crossed the slimeball threshold of attacking war hero John McCain specifically for having been a war hero. Trump, a five time draft dodger, has always been resentful of the across-the-board respect that McCain has engendered. But since McCain passed away, Trump has mostly had the sense not to go there – until now.

It’s been a particularly brutal week for Donald Trump, with Democrats in Congress boldly launching new investigations into his crimes, even as Republicans in Congress quietly begin trying to distance themselves from his impending downfall. As the Republican votes against Trump have continued to rack up this week, Trump has tried to act like he was just fine with his own party selling him out. But then Trump went and betrayed his true feelings today, posting this tweet about McCain:

Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!

In other words, Donald Trump is scared to death of what’s happening to him right now, and he’s lashing out accordingly. After attacking John McCain, Trump went on to also attack General Motors, China, Hillary Clinton, and Google. When going after GM, he insisted that the company comply with his demands quickly, because “Time is of the essence!” Trump knows he’s a man who’s out of time.
