Watergate hero John Dean makes dire prediction for the entire Donald Trump family
Now that so many of Donald Trump’s own people are flipping on him, the race is on to see if any of them can find a way to be remembered by history as fondly as former White House Counsel John Dean, who is widely credited with helping to take Richard Nixon down for Watergate. It’s doubtful any of Trump’s people will be remembered fondly by anyone – but it is becoming more clear that they’re going to end up toppling him. John Dean himself is now making a dire prediction for the entire Trump family.
After Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort cut a plea deal yesterday which included an agreement to cooperate with the Feds on all of their ongoing investigations, John Dean weighed in via Twitter. He posted this: “Manafort has flipped! BOOM (the sound of broomsticks breaking the sound barrier crashing to earth – NO witches). The entire Trump family now in jeopardy. No pardon for Paul from Trump. No nice things to say about ManAfort by Rudy. Nightmares at the White House will be unending.”
The key here is Dean’s prediction that the entire Trump family is in real trouble. It’s not difficult to draw a straight line from Paul Manafort’s plea deal to his participation in the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, and representatives from the Russian government. Of course that’s just the start.
John Dean didn’t explain why he believes that the likes of Ivanka and Eric Trump are in legal jeopardy. However, it’s long been widely reported that Ivanka played a prominent role in the Trump Organization’s ill fated Trump Soho deal with convicted Russian mafia money launderer Felix Sater. It’s also been reported that Donald Trump defrauded money from Eric’s charity. For what it’s worth, we’re pretty sure Mr. Dean wasn’t including Barron Trump in his prediction.
