Joel Greenberg court hearing is bad news for Matt Gaetz

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Matt Gaetz cannot possibly be a happy man these days. His life appears to be falling apart. The investigation appears to be speeding up. Gaetz must be getting incredibly nervous about now. And now there is some more news. A date has been set for sentencing for Gaetz old pal Joel Greenberg. Greenberg is scheduled to hear his sentence on March 29 at 9:30 AM.

Greenberg faces a minimum of 12 years in prison. This date really isn’t all that far off. And the fact that a date has been set for Greenberg’s sentencing does suggest that Greenberg has given the Feds a great deal of information.

In the meantime, Congressman Ted Lieu says that Gaetz should be removed from the House Oversite committee. I agree. But this most likely will not happen because the Republican party does not seem to care about little things like FBI investigations into their own Congresspeople.

In the meantime, Gaetz appears to be losing (what’s left) of his mind on Twitter. His latest musings? How to take over the world. I am not making this up.

Gaetz is the type of guy who I suspect would happily film a reality television show from prison — he’s that desperate to keep the spotlight on him.

Only now the spotlight IS on him but for all the wrong reasons. Gaetz has been in denial for way too long. But now, his cloak of denial is crumbling, and his new reality has closed in. This reality is stark, unsmiling, and it has bars. Things are not looking good for Gaetz, and I suspect at this point he actually knows this.
