Joe Biden takes a stand in the racist murder of Ahmaud Arbery
Earlier today a video went viral which showed two white men murdering a black jogger, Ahmaud Arbery, execution style with a shotgun. Remarkably, the murder took place two months ago. The video has set off a full day’s worth of well deserved outrage and protests, prompting Arbery’s name to trend on Twitter.
Donald Trump, despite being the current President of the United States, hasn’t said a thing about the racist hate crime. And why would he? Trump is a blatant racist who doesn’t expect to get the black vote anyway. However his challenger, Joe Biden, minced no words:
The video is clear: Ahmaud Arbery was killed in cold blood. My heart goes out to his family, who deserve justice and deserve it now. It is time for a swift, full, and transparent investigation into his murder. https://t.co/alvY5WjdHx

S. Lee Merritt, the attorney representing Ahmaud Arbery’s family, called for the immediate arrest of the men in the video:
Justice demands that arrests be made immediately for the murder of #AhmaudArbery. #IrunwithMaud pic.twitter.com/0naWrt66lj
