Joe Biden scores three major pieces of good news in a row

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Even as the media continues to wet its pants over the single digit percentage of House Democrats who think that President Joe Biden can’t win reelection, the reality keeps looking very different. In fact Biden scored three pieces of major good news today.

First came the news that Israel and Hamas have agreed to the framework of the ceasefire that Biden proposed. In other words Biden has pulled off a major diplomatic coup. He managed to protect Israel throughout the war, and now he’s potentially brought the war to an end before any more Palestinians get killed.

Then came the second piece of good news, a new NPR poll which has Biden two points ahead of Trump. It’s funny how, for all the media hype about how poorly Biden is supposedly doing in the polls, there’s a new poll released just about every day that has Biden tied or ahead.

This leads us to the third piece of good news for Biden today, which is that the FiveThirtyEight forecast model now has Biden as a slight favorite over Trump, giving Biden a 51% chance of winning. So much for the notion that Biden is somehow hopelessly out of contention and should drop out. The media is lost at sea, but reality is making a comeback. Support Palmer Report. Click here.
