Elizabeth Warren gave birth to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Donald Trump did his best to destroy the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But it’s still standing, and now President-elect Joe Biden is doing the right thing with it.

Biden has picked Rohit Chopra to run the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. All you really need to know about Chopra is that he helped Warren create the bureau to begin with, and he’s closely aligned with Warren to this day. In other words, Biden is putting the CFPB back into the hands of the right people – and American consumers will benefit across the board.
