Joe Biden just nailed it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The former guy’s endless scandals were by and large the centerpiece of both the 2016 and the 2020 election campaigns, and he lost the latter because of how poorly he managed to handle them – with his stupidity on full display when the COVID pandemic broke out. A big difference between either of those cycles and 2024 is that we actually have competent leadership to compare against the farcical Trump years. While Trump is getting mired deeper in his court cases, President Biden actually is making America great again – with transformative leadership liable to be felt for years after he’s gone.

On Monday morning, the Biden-Harris administration announced the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) $120 billion investment in the swing state of Arizona, which will soon manufacture the most advanced computer chips in the world – giving us both a massive economic advantage over foreign countries and one of national security as well, keeping our data secure from potentially hostile foreign nationals, and continuing to bring back manufacturing jobs to U.S. shores – with 6,000 new manufacturing and 20,000 new construction jobs when the plant opens.

The distinction has never been clearer: President Biden is delivering on the prosperity and strong national security that Republicans like to scream about but never actually accomplish, conditioning us to accept the terrible outcomes of their own policies. Right now, we’re seeing the peak of an economy that’s moving towards the future rather than dreaming of the past, and that’s why we need to re-elect President Biden, keep the Senate and flip the House on Nov 5.
