Joe Biden just nailed it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

– President elect Joe Biden made an incredible statement today with just three words. When he held a roundtable with frontline medical workers, one of the nurses revealed that she still hasn’t been able to get tested for coronavirus. Biden’s response: “You’re kidding me.” Biden signaled that we’re finally about to have a President who finds that to be as unacceptable, absurd, and in need of fixing as the rest of us do. Trump would have simply lied about testing, or ignored the nurse’s words altogether.

– Yet another reason to work hard to win the Georgia Senate runoffs: a formal ethics complaint was filed against Lindsey Graham today for his election tampering. If the Democrats take control of the Senate, this complaint will be investigated seriously and there will be hearings. If the Republicans retain control of the Senate, then the Senate will take no action against Graham.

– Tweet of the day, from Congresswoman Jackie Speier: “42 years ago today I survived a mass shooting & massacre at Jonestown. Congressman Leo Ryan was assassinated along w/courageous journalists Don Harris, Bob Brown of NBC News & SF Examiner photographer Greg Robinson. Embrace life. Respect the fact that you are alive & wear a mask.”
