As Joe Biden continues to make the transition from the primary race to the general election, he continues to staff up his campaign. His latest hire is a familiar and respected face.
Many of you already know Karine Jean-Pierre from her regular appearances on MSNBC. Some of you also remember her for famously putting herself between Senator Kamala Harris and a heckler who rushed the stage last year. Now Karine Jean-Pierre is officially working for the Joe Biden 2020 campaign.
She tweeted this today: “I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining the Biden campaign as a Senior Adviser. This is the most important general election in generations and I just could not sit this election out. I look forward to doing this work with Joe Biden and the team.”
