Joe Biden just got some really good news

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There’s an old adage that says you should never interrupt your opponent while he’s making a mistake. Donald Trump’s disastrous press briefings are unwittingly serving as a two hour long TV commercial for Joe Biden each day. Biden pops in with a TV interview here and there, but he currently has a sizable lead in the polls, and there’s no reason for him to try to hog all the attention at the moment. That said, it turns out Biden is getting plenty of attention.

Financial disclosures show that Joe Biden was able to fundraise $46.7 million in the month of March. This is a huge haul. These numbers are reported on a significant delay, so while we don’t have any April numbers yet, there’s reason to expect he’s doing even better this month now that he’s the de facto Democratic nominee. Moreover, the average size donation is about $40, meaning that most of Biden’s donors are small-dollar individuals.

In other words, the American people are increasingly buying into Joe Biden’s candidacy, and they’re putting their money where their mouths are. Biden won the primary race on a small budget, but taking on the corrupt GOP-backed Trump campaign will require a significant amount of fundraising. Biden is proving he can pull it off.
