Joe Biden just drew the line – and now it’s our job to uphold it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

President Biden just said “we need two additional pro-choice senators.” He’s spelling out that if we get up to 52 seats, making Manchin and Sinema irrelevant, the Democrats will use 50 votes to exempt Roe v. Wade from the filibuster. His messaging and call to action are clear, concise, and easily understood by an increasingly motivated American public.

Take a moment to think about how much Biden and the Democrats could be accomplishing right now, if Manchin and Sinema hadn’t corruptly sold out to the right wing. That’s how much Biden and the Democrats will be able to start accomplishing after the midterms, if we can simply pick up two seats in the Senate. So how do we do that?

There are nine highly competitive Senate races that will decide the Senate majority. These nine races include five seats currently held by Republicans that are flippable, and four vulnerable seats currently held by Democrats that must be aggressively defended. Here are the nine Democratic Senate candidates you should sign up for and support:

Of course the Democrats will need to retain majority control of the House in November as well, but we also have a plan for that. The stakes are too high. This is all too important. This is not a time for sitting back and fretting or complaining. This is a time for action. We must win the midterms – and if we put in the work, we will. Let’s go make it happen.
