Joe Biden is winning Super Tuesday so far in a massive blowout

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With Bernie Sanders likely to win California tonight, and Texas likely to be a close race, the key for Joe Biden heading into Super Tuesday was to run up the score in the smaller states. Based on the results that are coming in thus far from those smaller states, Biden couldn’t be doing any better.

The major media outlets called Virginia, Alabama, and North Carolina for Joe Biden the minute the polls closed. This means that in the exit polls, Biden was so far ahead – by something like 25, 30, or 40 points – that there was going to be no doubt about the outcome. The key here is that Bernie Sanders and Mike Bloomberg tried to contest both these states, yet got nowhere. Bernie is doing poorly; Bloomberg is doing even worse.

Of course Biden has to run up the score in these states, because California has a huge number of delegates, and Sanders will likely get a majority of that huge delegate pile. Sanders has won his home state of Vermont in a blowout. Sanders will also likely do better than Biden in Massachusetts and Maine.

But Joe Biden is running up the score right now in the places where he needs to. If Biden can win Texas or finish a close second there, and if Biden can keep California from being a blowout, this will end up being a huge night for him. Stay tuned.
