Joe Biden finds fertile ground

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As I write these words, President Biden is heading to Florida for a campaign event. That’s right. President Biden is not giving up on the sunshine state It’s a good thing too. We’ve had a couple of recent wins in Florida and thanks to Governor do nothing DeSantis, we may very well have more.

I really don’t think it’s coincidental that the wins for our side started occurring around the time DeSantis abandoned the state to run for president. Floridians are fed up as Ron DeSantis hasn’t done one thing of consequence since he became the governor except of course, to harass Mickey Mouse, black and brown people and the LBGTQ community.

I personally never gave up on Florida. I think the state can still be won. Things are changing in Florida, and it seems President Biden has noticed. And with Donald Trump‘s recent comments about wanting to be a dictator, there is fertile ground indeed for President Biden to win back the sunshine state.

The huge Cuban population in Florida, particularly around the Miami area, is definitely not going to be happy with Trump’s open desire to become a dictator. In fact, President Biden reportedly “sees an opening” in Florida, in part, because of these very words.

But it’s not just that. It’s the results — or lack thereof — in virtually anything relating to Floridians’ health and well-being.

Since becoming governor, Ron DeSantis has basically used and abused the state, victimizing her, holding her up as proof of why he could be president. He never gave a damn about Florida, and there are plenty of very intelligent and educated people there, who know this.

Then there is the fact that Donald Trump’s brain is melting faster than an ice cream cone on a summer’s day. It’s impossible NOT to see that. So hats off to President Biden. I am very happy that he’s including Florida in his list of campaign stops.
