Joe Biden just destroyed Donald Trump
Joe Biden is having an incredibly good Super Tuesday thus far. He’s winning states like Minnesota and Massachusetts, which no one thought he’d win. He’s running up the score so much in states like Virginia, he’ll come out of tonight with roughly half the delegates or more. Of course some other candidates are having a pretty bad night – and Donald Trump seems gleeful about it.
After Elizabeth Warren failed to pick up any significant number of delegates in the early states this evening, Donald Trump posted this idiotic and racist tweet: “Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, other than Mini Mike, was the loser of the night. She didn’t even come close to winning her home state of Massachusetts. Well, now she can just sit back with her husband and have a nice cold beer!”
Joe Biden then jumped in to defend Elizabeth Warren, telling off Donald Trump in the process: “You lost tonight, Donald Trump. Democrats around the country are fired up. We are decent, brave, and resilient people. We are better than you. Come November, we are going to beat you.”
Joe Biden is campaigning on the premise that he can unite mainstream Americans after all the divisive damage that Trump has done. Trump taunting Elizabeth Warren, and Biden telling off Trump for it, is precisely more of what we need in this country right now.
