Now that Pete Buttigieg has dropped out of the 2020 race, plenty of his supporters have stated on social media that they’re not sure what to do with themselves. Pete has a bright future and he’ll probably be President someday, but what about right now? As it turns out, Pete’s fans can still get him into a major political position in 2020.

To be clear, there’s no reason to presume that Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg have cut any sort of deal. Pete’s numbers in South Carolina made clear that he had no chance at the nomination, so there was no reason for him not to drop out. Amy Klobuchar may not be inclined to leave the Senate for a cabinet position, but she’s also endorsing Biden today.
