Joe Biden comes out swinging and cuts Donald Trump down to size

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Joe Biden was planning to give a speech today about the ongoing economic struggles that working class Americans are facing as a result of Donald Trump’s negligence. But in the wake of last night’s report about what Trump really thinks of U.S. military personnel, Biden’s public appearance today took on a far more pointed, angry, and passionate air.

In response to Trump’s belief that U.S. troops are “losers” and “suckers” for putting their lives on the line, Biden said what we’re all feeling – which is that Trump’s remarks are disqualifying. Biden stressed that the words of a President matter – even a “lousy President.” When Biden was asked about Trump mocking him for wearing a mask, Biden said that it’s “hard to respond to something so idiotic.”

When Biden was asked about the increasingly deranged conspiracy theories coming from Donald Trump’s “Q-anon” supporters, Biden said they need mental help, and suggested they take advantage of Obamacare. When a visibly angry Biden was strangely asked why he isn’t expressing even more anger about Trump’s shameful behavior, Biden pointed out that he was trying to keep things presidential.

This press conference was one of Joe Biden’s finest hours. He’s always been a guy who rises to the occasion. We need him more than ever, and he clearly understands this. He’s in the lead. Now let’s make sure he wins by investing our time into voter registration and turnout, phone banking, and volunteering.
