Joe Biden just took a blowtorch to Bernie Sanders
If we’re going to beat Donald Trump in 2020, we can’t do it with a nominee like Bernie Sanders, who screws up every time he opens his mouth. Sanders’ latest stupid remarks, this time about Fidel Castro, have already prompted leading Democrats in Florida to disavow him out of necessity. Now Joe Biden, who is leading in South Carolina according to three new polls, is coming out swinging at Bernie for yet another stupid thing he’s said.
Bernie’s new frontrunner status – which isn’t even real, considering he’s only won two out of three states so far, with forty-seven states still yet to vote – has placed a spotlight on his long history of embarrassing political stunts. For instance, Sanders tried to run a primary challenge against President Obama in 2012, which based on modern political history, would almost certainly have ended up damaging Obama enough to hand the election to the Republicans. Joe Biden is now running this ad:
