When President elect Joe Biden and Vice President elect Kamala Harris took the stage tonight, those new titles alone were enough to underscore the significance of the moment. From the moment Kamala opened her speech by quoting John Lewis, to the moment Joe closed his speech with his new tagline “Spread the faith,” it was precisely the historic night we were all hoping for and needed.
