Jim Jordan just crashed and burned

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If you’re on the wrong side of an issue, and you have no hope of convincing observers that you’re on the correct side of it, then your last resort is to try to convince observers that you’re being treated unfairly for being on the wrong side of things. This brings us to Jim Jordan, who’s on the wrong side of pretty much everything.

Jim Jordan tweeted this today:

.

What’s particularly odd about this tweet is that none of these people were actually “canceled.” Drew Brees’s teammates rallied around him after he acknowledged that he’d gotten the issue wrong. Mike Gundy still has his job after promising reforms. James Harden said he wasn’t aware of what the message on his mask meant, and that explanation has been accepted. This is stupid even for Jim Jordan.
