Donald Trump has senile meltdown about Senator Jim Inhofe
One of the many reasons Donald Trump has failed so badly since taking office is that he doesn’t seem to understand how anything works in politics. Nearly four years later, he still hasn’t bothered to learn the basics, or he’s incapable of understanding them.
For instance, the House and Senate have both passed legislation that removes the names of Confederate traitors from U.S. military bases, with overwhelming bipartisan veto-proof numbers. It still has to go back to committee before it’s voted on by the full Senate again, but it’s not as if anyone is going to vote against it after having just voted for it.
Just don’t tell that to Donald Trump. This morning he tweeted this:
I spoke to highly respected (Chairman) Senator @JimInhofe, who has informed me that he WILL NOT be changing the names of our great Military Bases and Forts, places from which we won two World Wars (and more!). Like me, Jim is not a believer in “Cancel Culture”.

No one has any idea what Trump is talking about – least of all him. He seems to be under the impression that the legislation hasn’t been voted on yet, or that Jim Inhofe has a magic wand, or something equally absurd. Trump either can’t understand, or can’t accept the fact that, his own party has already overwhelmingly committed itself to going against him on this one. Like we said earlier today, it’s all slipping away from him.
