Jim Acosta just ripped Ron DeSantis to pieces
Not long ago, I wrote an article for Palmer Report called “Lord of the lies.” It was about Jim Acosta, who gifted all of us with that brilliant nickname for Donald Trump. Now there is more news on Acosta.
Acosta is proving to be one of the best things about CNN. The network has been particularly awful lately, but Acosta is only getting better. Acosta lit into Florida lunatic Ron DeSantis, who desires to create an “election force” who would answer only to him. Acosta offered this imaginary force its first election tip.
“Yes, officer Ron, I’d like to report an insurrection,” Acosta said, delighting everybody and making DeSantis look like the fool he is. Acosta has several things going for him. He doesn’t attempt to “both sides” it, which makes him stand out right there.
But he also has wit. This wit is a sparklingly delicious bottle of champagne that is regularly spilled on liars such as DeSantis and Tucker Carlson. And he has the ability to call out bullshit better than almost anyone I’ve seen.
Acosta is hosting the 9:00 PM slot this week on CNN, and for the first time in a while, I am tuning in to the network. Many folks are tweeting and emailing CNN asking for Acosta to be given Chris Cuomo’s old time slot. Who knows? In the meantime, as usual, we thank Acosta for his great wit and accurate reporting.
