Jim Acosta just destroyed Donald Trump’s stooge Kayleigh McEnany
Donald Trump is too busy tweeting violent threats and fake videos to have time to brief the press, so he has his White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany doing a briefing today. Unfortunately for McEnany, it’s not going particularly well – thanks in part to the steeliness of CNN reporter Jim Acosta.
Last night Donald Trump tweeted a doctored video which falsely claimed to be a CNN report about a “racist baby” on the loose. Twitter ended up slapping a warning label on the tweet. During today’s press briefing, Acosta asked McEnany why Trump was exploiting two toddlers to try to score phony political points with a fake video.
McEnany responded by insisting that Trump’s doctored video was “funny.” Acosta fired back with “What’s funny about these two toddlers hugging one another?” We’re awarding the victory on this one to Jim Acosta.
