Jill Biden comes out swinging
Dr. Jill Biden has had a long distinguished career as a teacher, and she spent eight years making America proud as Second Lady of the United States. Now she’s on the campaign trail on behalf of her husband Joe Biden, who’s running for President. Jill is showing us what kind of First Lady she’ll be if Joe wins, and it’s becoming even more clear that she’d be a strong one.
Today, Jill Biden came out swinging in support of the Violence Against Women Act, which Joe Biden helped spearhead into law in 1994:
As a Senator, Joe was told a law protecting women from domestic violence was “a private family matter.” He defied them. I watched him write #VAWA and spend 4 years passing it. On this #InternationalWomensDay, I’m proud @JoeBiden has stood up for women his entire career. pic.twitter.com/Squebimc9X

Jill Biden also spoke with her fellow educators today about reforming the school system, which has been severely damaged by corrupt current Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos:
No better way to spend a Saturday than with fellow educators in sunny Florida. Thank you all for coming out and hearing about @JoeBiden’s plan for the future of our children and educators! #TeamJoe pic.twitter.com/SXwVgnG65a
