Jen Psaki slam dunks John Cornyn

Earlier today, Senator John Cornyn (R – Dumpster Fire) made the strange decision to attack President Joe Biden for not spending enough time focusing on Twitter and cable news. Actually, Cornyn was quoting a particularly idiotic passage from Politico, which is another story. But Cornyn’s tweet found its way into today’s White House press briefing, and let’s just say that it didn’t go well for Cornyn.

When a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about John Cornyn’s tweet today, Psaki gave this reply: “I can confirm the president of the United States does not spend his time tweeting conspiracy theories. He spends his time working for the American people.”

Biden understands that one of the keys to his success is having a highly competent Press Secretary out there like Jen Psaki, who is routinely able to put these phony controversies to bed. Of course Psaki’s job is made easier by the fact that Biden is highly competent to begin with. It’s how these things are supposed to work.
