Jen Psaki drops the hammer on idiot reporter
Here’s the thing about White House press briefings: correspondents from numerous major news outlets are allowed to attend, even if they’re terrible correspondents who work for terrible news outlets and ask terrible questions. It’s just how the First Amendment goes.
Because White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is good at her job, these idiot questions tend to produce some humorous moments, and some proverbial smackdowns. For instance, a reporter from a far right propaganda outlet complained that President Biden hasn’t yet met with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and suggested that the public is somehow outraged about this.
Psaki’s response: “Do you think tens of millions of people are concerned about him not meeting with Kevin McCarthy?” Enough said.
