Pretenders—we have lots of them in our society. I’ve seen them because they lurk everywhere, not just in politics. Pretenders are the ones who, with fake disguises woven around them, pretend to be our friends, our most intimate confidantes.
They ALWAYS seek a way in, a way to gain one’s trust, sometimes for the pure delight of taking that trust and spitting on it. So now one of these pretenders has just been announced as Donald Trump’s VP candidate. I knew it would be him. Pretenders have magnificent powers of suck-up. They thrive in environments where they can throw on their masks and mingle, chuckling with the ones they want to impress and smiling with the capricious deceit of pure pretense. That’s what they must do because pretenders, you see, usually do not feel much, most of the time, except hope—hope on how to manipulate people.
JD Vance. Cultural heroin. What IS cultural heroin, my friends? Well — we know that heroin is in itself a very deadly drug. Infecting us. Infecting our culture. Those were the words the pretender used about Trump when he was not pretending. Oh, how quickly he managed to scrub his Twitter page clean! Oh, how he kissed ass — Donald Trump’s ass.
Oh, how he mingled, befriending traitor Orange’s son, Junior. Vance did everything but offer up his soul — no, pardon me. He DID offer up his soul. Vance is the thief in the night that, if one is unlucky enough to be stranded on an island with, would not help you build the boat back to civilization. He’d build it himself while you slept — and leave you there as he hastily rowed back to safety.
And in a way, it’s a good thing he was chosen. Cultural heroin. America’s Hitler. We have SO MUCH opposition on Vance — so much to use against him. You see, the one thing pretenders cannot do is go back in time and erase their own words. That’s not possible for the pretender. So yes, there is so much to use against him.
