Jared Kushner has a Pecker problem

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Depending on which Trump White House lies you want to believe, Donald Trump is either so mad at Jared Kushner he sent him on the Hannity show this week as punishment, or Trump is so enthralled with Kushner he’s preparing to name him White House Chief of Staff. Even as this nonsense plays out, the reality is that Kushner is facing legal troubles that are worsening by the minute.

During the election, Michael Cohen was Donald Trump’s fixer when it came to conspiring with David Pecker and the National Enquirer. Now it turns out that, after Trump illegitimately became president, he settled on a new “liaison” with the National Enquirer: Jared Kushner. Wait, this can’t be good for Jared, considering that his predecessor in this role is headed to prison for it. In fact some of the details are surfacing, and it isn’t pretty.

Awhile back, Morning Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski alleged that three Donald Trump advisers had warned them that the National Enquirer was about to publish dirt on them unless they begged Trump to intervene. According to a new report from Daily Beast, Jared Kushner was right in the middle of that mess. These things have to be decided by prosecutors and judges and juries, but to us, it sounds a lot like felony extortion. But it gets worse for Kushner.

The thing about the Donald Trump – National Enquirer scandal is that David Pecker has cut a non-prosecution deal which requires him to cooperate on everything. Whatever Jared Kushner and Pecker were plotting together against Morning Joe or anyone else, suffice it to say that the SDNY already knows all about it.
