The GOP are not very happy campers right now. Or at least some of them aren’t. Why? Because Hunter Biden has graciously accepted House Republicans’ offer to testify on Capitol Hill. But wait, one might say. That’s what the GOP WANTED, right? Shouldn’t they be dancing a jig?
Well — no. You see, Hunter Biden appears quite smart — like his dad. Hunter had one stipulation to testifying. It has to be in public so the American people can SEE the testimony. And just like that, the scream was heard.
This metaphorical scream came from Republican James Comer of Kentucky. It was a blood-curdling scream, filled with angst and failure, as Mr. Comer was forced to acknowledge what we all knew.
That is the fact that, once again, Comer’s plans have been destroyed. See, the House Republicans CAN’T do this publicly. If they did that — my gosh! People would have the ability to think instead of accepting the GOP’s word that the hearing went TERRIBLY for Hunter Biden.
No, no, NO! We mustn’t let the American people form their OWN opinions! That would not be good at ALL. Republican Ben Cline of Virginia went one step further, saying on Newsmax that the Democrats were using a “stall tactic.”
So, dear friends and readers, let’s recap. Hunter Biden will testify. He just wants it to be in public so as not to hide anything from the American people. Republicans have accused Democrats of stalling for wanting transparency and accountability.
Could the House Republicans BE any more moronic? This is a rhetorical question, definitely not needing an owner because we all KNOW what the answer is. Comer then rejected the offer to testify, making himself look like the moron that he is. Jamie Raskin wasted no time in absolutely torching James Comer. I mean, wouldn’t you? Every day, the GOP makes bigger fools of themselves.
