Last week we saw a story about Donald Trump finally getting wind of how bad his own internal polls are, and becoming so enraged that he threatened to take legal action against his own campaign manager. It raises the question of just what the Trump 2020 campaign is even supposed to be. It burns through money like crazy, despite having little to show for it.

Throw in the fact that Donald Trump keeps coming off as incrementally more senile in each of his public appearances, and it raises the question of who’s conning whom. Democratic strategist James Carville appeared on the 11th Hour with Brian Williams on Wednesday night. He shared a theory about what’s going on, and let’s just say that no one involved is going to like it:
