Jack Smith’s second wave
I want to talk about the second wave. And I’m not referring to sea waves. I am speaking of the second wave of DC indictments from Jack Smith. Legal Mind Glenn Kirschner wanted to speak about that, too. That’s why, when he appeared on MSNBC, he told host Katie Phang more indictments should be expected.
“Here’s the outlier, Katie,” he explained. “These people, who were named for indictment, but we haven’t seen them show up in an indictment yet, they could be indicted in the future.”
“Think about Jack Smith’s indictment that was handed down in Washington, DC. There are six pretty important, unnamed but pretty well-identified Co-Conspirators in that case. And I have every expectation that we will see a second wave if indictments in Washington DC. Of those thus far, unindicted co-conspirators.”
This is something Palmer Report has predicted as well. Jack Smith’s indictments are a lot like the most delightful chocolate — they’re so very sweet, and there sure seems to be a lot of them. On social media, many voiced their thoughts and feelings about this:
“Karma calendar!”
“It makes a whole lotta sense.”
“100 indictments on the wall, 100 indictments..”
“Pretty, please! Keep ’em coming!”
“Jack Smith looks like a guy who would happily eat your freedom for lunch, so yes, this will happen.”
“So many names, so much time.”
“Please hurry, Jack.”
“It’s like a rolling earthquake, little by little.”
‘”Leave not one rat unpunished.”
“Lock them all up!!!”
As you can see, there’s a thirst for this from the people on social media. But Glen Kirschner is rarely wrong. (Neither is Palmer Report.!)
So let’s not get too comfy here, thinking the indictments are over. Nothing seems to be further from the truth. There will be a second wave. And hopefully that wave hits high tide soon.
