Jack Smith just had even more people testify against Donald Trump to the grand jury

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday I said we were officially on Trump Indictment Watch again, based on the advanced stage of Jack Smith’s January 6th related grand jury, along with the media’s sudden last ditch effort to milk its “DOJ let Trump off the 1/6 hook” narrative while it still can, and House Republicans’ sudden desperation to create as many distractions as possible. Today we’ve gotten news on that grand jury front.

Jack Smith had Trump 2020 campaign official G. Michael Brown testify to the grand jury today. He was allegedly a part of the fake electors plot – the latest sign that Smith’s “January 6th” probe is actually broader and includes the fake electors scheme. This comes after Smith reportedly had the chair of the Nevada Republican Party testify last week.

Keep in mind that grand jury testimony is secret, and not everyone who testifies to the grand jury ends up being spotted by the media. For instance Mark Meadows apparently testified at one point without anyone knowing about it. So it’s possible that people have been testifying every day the grand jury has met of late.

In any case, every time another witness testifies to the grand jury, it puts us that much closer to the end of the witness list, which will be when indictments are issued. We’re still not going to try to predict a precise date for Jack Smith’s next round of Trump indictments. But it’s more clear than ever that it could happen at any time.
