Jack Smith just flexed his muscles
If I were Donald Trump (and thank goodness I’m not), I’d be very afraid about now. This is because of his biggest enemy. This enemy is logic to Trump’s chaos, goodness to Trump’s cruelty, and golden sun to Trump’s decaying darkness. This person is Jack Smith. Jack Smith has added another person to his team — a veteran prosecutor specializing in war crimes whom Smith worked with in The Hague.
Uh-oh. Alex Whiting was Smith’s deputy and worked with Jack Smith for several years, doing his part to put the people who committed these war crimes in prison. He was educated at Yale and has been a teacher at Harvard. He also worked as a prosecutor for the International Criminal Court. But there’s more.
Politico reported that Whiting spent Wednesday and Thursday at court watching a trial. That trial has as its judge, Judge Tanya Chutkan. The person on trial is a January sixth defendant. Smith isn’t playing.
Trump’s prosecution is shaping up to be a nightmare for him. And given Trump keeps firing lawyers and getting into arguments with them, this is a bad sign for the quintuple indicted moron.
Now Whiting’s specific role is not yet known. But I feel pretty confident in predicting it’s going to be a big one – to the detriment of Donald Trump. Is there ANY good news for Trump? Is anything going well? No.
Smith is an intriguing figure and a human pit-bull. Now he has brought onto his team ANOTHER human pit-bull — one who knows and prosecutes war criminals — Just like Smith. Yes, this is not a good week to be Donald Trump. I mean — no week is good to be Trump, but this week, in particular, really has been terrible for him, and this item of news just takes the cake.
