Jack Smith is reportedly criminally indicting Rudy Giuliani even after his proffer interview

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday the news broke from the New York Times that Rudy Giuliani did a proffer interview with Jack Smith’s DOJ team last week. This is usually a precursor to a cooperating plea deal, and fits with Smith’s previously reported June 30th deadline for plea deals before January 6th indictments begin.

Now additional details are coming from the Independent, which says that Jack Smith’s team spent the proffer interview asking questions about Donald Trump – pretty much confirming what we already expected, which is that Trump will be criminally indicted for January 6th.

The Independent also says that while the DOJ will give Rudy Giuliani some leniency due to the information that he provided in his proffer session, he’s still going to face some criminal charges. The article also makes clear that those charges are “ready” to happen. Stay tuned. More is obviously coming on this front.
