Jack Smith has this one up his sleeve
Since it was announced that Judge Cannon had been assigned Trump’s case, many people online have been what I politely refer to as losing their shit. I understand it’s normal to be a little nervous, but this goes far beyond.
I want to stress I’m not talking about Palmer Report readers but all over the Internet I’ve seen crazy comments, some of which appear to be a denial of all reality. “Jack Smith screwed up!”
Really now?! Do people really and truly believe that this man, this human pit bull who has put people away for war crimes, doesn’t know what he’s doing? Indeed, some people think seem to think just that. It is remarkable to me, remarkable how people have the ability to sabotage their own happiness.
I ask all of you not to let this kind of thing get to you. Cannon will probably not even be on the case permanently. But let’s just say that she is. Let me indulge that point of view. The moment she gets out of line and does something bizarre it will be appealed to the 11th circuit.
People are letting Judge Cannon live in their heads. She is there in many a brain and living rent free. Don’t assign her all these powers that she doesn’t have. Part of the situation is the media’s fault.
Over the weekend for amusement purposes, I googled her name and I did it by date. There seems to be a new article about her, every 10 to 15 minutes. The pundits are having a field day scaring the living crap out of everyone. That’s their job though, please remember that.
In the real world, we have possibly the most important political case ever to be tried, and Judge Cannon is not going to be much of a factor. Judge Cannon reportedly has donated to Ron DeSantis, so there is no evidence she would even vote for Trump in a Republican primary!
Yes, I realize her behavior was abysmal the last time. But this story is about Trump, not a judge. There are 1 million things Jack Smith can do if in fact, Carolyn decides to get mischievous. I am not worried about it. And I don’t want you guys getting your blood pressure up by worrying about it. Concentrate on Trump, who is about to be arraigned for the second time.
