Jack Smith be nimble

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It was Thanksgiving day. People all over the country cooked turkeys, welcomed loved ones, and celebrated the day, taking time off from work to bask in the glow of holiday cheer. At least most people did. One person was busy at work.

That person is the special Prosecutor of Donald Trump — Jack Smith or, as he has been nicknamed on Twitter — “Jack be nimble.” As Bill Palmer has laid out for you, Smith sent a letter on Thanksgiving to the 11th circuit, savaging Trump on one of his biggest lies.

Just, what kind of Prosecutor WORKS on Thanksgiving? Someone who takes their work extremely seriously. Someone who knows the world is watching and intends to deliver. Jack Smith is going to be Donald Trump’s worst nightmare. “Jack be nimble” has already shown in mere days that he is brilliant, accurate, and a skilled hunter. And right now, he is hunting our insurrectionist.

He’s got him in his sights, and the traitor knows it. That might be why Trump is melting at a rate faster than butter in a hot pan. It is both vindicating to watch as well as highly entertaining. Smith’s background speaks for itself, but I’ll admit even I was stunned by how fast he got to work.

So while Thanksgiving for all of us was a holiday of good food, good company, and good cheer, for the insurrectionist, it was a different type of day. It was a day the hunting party kicked into overdrive. It was a day of fear for Donald Trump, and there will likely be plenty more where that came from.
