Ivanka Trump is on the hot seat

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

The January 6 committee is hard at work doing what they do best — investigating the insurrection. And now a bit of news has trickled out — that could put Ivanka Trump in the hot seat.

The whispery-voiced Aphrodite- wanna-be has not been heard from much lately. But as everybody surely knows, she has always appeared to be closer to Trump than some of her siblings. And now, the January 6 committee has revealed something of interest.

Speaking with ABC News, Liz Cheney said that the committee has “firsthand testimony” that Ivanka had pleaded with daddy to stop the madness. “We know his daughter — we have firsthand testimony that his daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to please stop the violence,” Cheney explained.

How very interesting. And let’s discuss these new developments and what they could mean. If all this is true, that’s solid evidence that Trump knew much of what was occurring in the Capitol — and couldn’t have cared less.

I also believe — and I’m sure I am not the only one — that this puts a bit of a spotlight on Ivanka — and almost guarantees that she will be called to testify before the committee.

How could she not be? If she spoke to Trump twice, she would have firsthand knowledge of his reaction. What did he say to her? That’s the question. This could possibly force Ivanka into a very difficult position — testifying against Daddy-Oh. Of course, she could take the Fifth, but would someone like Ivanka, so desperately concerned about her image, really want to do that?

And if she is called to testify, it might also be televised. As we all know, there WILL be televised hearings. It would be so lovely to hear what Ivanka has to say about all this — provided she drops that simpering whisper and speaks up so we can all hear what she’s saying.

So, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. One thing is certain. If I were Ivanka (and thank goodness I’m not), I’d be rather worried about now.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
