It’s slipping away from Marco Rubio already

“South Africa is doing very bad things.” These words come from Trump’s so-called Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. There is increasing talk, however, that Rubio is not REALLY Secretary of State, that he might be carrying the title, but the only other thing he’s carrying is Donald John Trump’s water.

Rubio is increasingly raising concerns among subordinates who see him as a Trump robot whose hard drive has gone missing. He has become increasingly like a Donald Trump parrot, taking on the belief system of Elon Musk and Donald John Trump. As a result, it is being reported that Rubio has already lost the trust of many who work for him. This is really no big surprise to me and somehow I have the feeling it isn’t surprising to you either.

Rubio lacks the wherewithal to stand up for his people or for himself. He’s disappointing a lot of people around him who expected better, though who knows why they did. Rubio was one of the less controversial nominees for Donald Trump; I think that we, my friends, however, all knew that Marco Rubio would wind up in exactly this position, from the start.

Rubio is not exactly an assertive personality. He has always been little more than Donald Trump’s paper pusher, not a person who has ever had any ability to wield power or act in the ways of a leader. When one loses the respect of their people, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to do their job in the highest quality way they can. This is bad news for Rubio, but nothing that we did not expect.
