It’s not going to work
Hands off our election results! That was the stark warning Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel gave Donald Trump on Saturday. Appearing on MSNBC, Nessel said if Trump tries ANYTHING — any crap — anything at all — in terms of election tampering, Michigan is ready!
Nessel IS prepared. Democrats run Michigan—any crap Turmp pulls will be quickly put to bed. Many of you have expressed worry about the aftermath of any presidential win, but you really shouldn’t be all that concerned. The Democratic Party is committed to ensuring a fair and just election, and they have at their disposal, a team of lawyers who will not tolerate any potential election interference, and the results will be certified.
I only bring this up because it appears to be a big worry for some on our team, and if I can help alleviate any worries, that is only a good thing. First, each state has rules about election certification. In Michigan, for example, let’s say a few people in one county flat-out refuse to certify.
Ultimately, in the Wolverine state, the Governor and AG would make decisions about election certification. That’s what happened last time, and that is what will happen this time. And as you know, the Governor and AG are both Democrats.
Of course, it helps if we win by huge numbers. We are confident that we can. I’d like to see a blowout. A few months ago, I didn’t think that was possible, but now I do. Of course, we all must do the work, but I think our numbers—the number of votes cast in early voting and the day of the election—can be and will be huge.
