It’s finally Lindsey Graham’s time in the barrel
Lindsey Graham’s ship has hit stormy waters. It’s happened. The Fulton County grand jury that’s been investigating Donald Trump has done it. They have subpoenaed Lindsey Graham, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, and Jenna Ellis. We’ve been waiting for this day. And now it’s here.
There will be several cases of insomnia in the coming days, I am sure, as frantic Trump sycophants beg their attorneys for help. How fate and karma must be laughing right now.
These subpoenas were filed on July 5. This criminal probe, started by District Attorney Fani Willis, has been ramping up in recent months. And now, it appears the net has scooped up some big fish.
Graham’s the one I want to discuss. Because, in my opinion, Lindsey Graham is up to his neck in insurrection. Graham, as you know, reportedly made that infamous call to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, asking him if he could toss out absentee votes. This all comes at a wonderful time — as the January 6 hearings are revving up to get started again.
So Graham, once known for his logic, and his ability to work across the political aisle, is now being called to testify in one of the biggest criminal cases in our lifetimes. It serves him right.
As of the time of this writing, there have been no public comments from Graham. But what must he be thinking? How nervous must he be? This isn’t exactly your average legal case. But Graham did it to himself. We all witnessed his very public collapse, his reshuffling of loyalty, his inability to say goodbye to Trump, and his blatant WORSHIP of the orange beast.
And now he must pay the piper. And so will others, including Rudy. Get ready for the storm, people. And as for Graham and the rest of the motley band of insurrection supporters, all I have to say is anchors away to Georgia.
