It was all a lie
It was all a lie, an untruth in a churning sea of them. As they sang their fake news blues, they were lying. As they shrugged flippantly, telling us we were over, they were telling untruths. As they gleefully tried to tear down the beauty of our nominee, they were misleading.
If this were a game of Clue, the answer to who started this lie of lies would be: The media. In the red room. With tumbling ratings. It was a lie, a trick, and a win for us. Allow me to tell you this story of the media in lying disarray.
Trump wins in a landslide! It’s a new world — Donald Trump’s world. He has a mandate! Trump won big! Wow — seems everyone went for Trump. Dems in disarray, disarray, disarray…….
The halls echoed with the sounds of viciously exaggerated blame. We have proof. Donald Trump’s numbers in the 2024 presidential election have fallen BELOW fifty percent. And Harris? “VP Harris gets 3rd highest popular vote of all time, more than Trump got in 2020.”
Yes, feast your eyes on this rare headline. Most of the headlines have been about how awful Harris did. This was all a lie.
This is why we fled from them, and this is why the strangers in the van couldn’t convince us to get inside. We don’t talk to strangers. We prefer getting our news from friends who practice honesty. 3RD highest popular vote OF ALL TIME.
Harris did great. It isn’t her fault that many sick American voters fell for Trump’s rhetoric. But for a campaign that took two months to organize? I am proud of her, and you should be, too.
I am sick of the damning lies, the bright and ostentatious peacock feathers of lies the media willingly grabbed hold of, giving up honest reporting in the process. So yes, this is one lie that I am glad to shatter. Oh, by the way? The REAL winner in all this?
That would be number one—the president who got the HIGHEST popular vote of ALL TIME, surpassing all past Presidents. Who do you suppose it could be?
Hint: It is the one MOST pilloried by the media, the same media that tried to destroy Harris. It is the one who will go down in history as a president worthy of loving and of being loved. It is the one that got approximately 81.3 million votes. It is our president, Joe Biden.
