Donald Trump and his vice-presidential candidate JD Vance continue to show their unfitness for office. JD Vance was asked about the incident at Arlington Cemetery, and part of his response was “She can go to hell,” talking about Kamala Harris. It was not something that people normally do. Further, Trump doesn’t care about the soldiers in those graves or their families. He saw it as a photo op. You can see him giving a “thumbs up” in the photograph taken by his photographer, who was not supposed to be in that part of the cemetery. Once again, Trump thinks he can do whatever he likes and everyone else be damned. These are the morons who want to run our country. No one wants them, yet they keep putting themselves in front of people who could care less about them.

Newsweek reported that JD Vance was booed during his event for the International Association of Fire Fighters. Union members especially aren’t interested in Trump and Vance, but Vance somehow feels the need to follow in Tim Walz’s footsteps, who had spoken to the group the day before. As soon as he stepped to the podium, the boos began. Vance smiled and said: “Sounds like we got some fans and some haters. That’s okay. Let’s listen to what I have to say here, and I’ll make my pitch here.” He has nothing to say that union members want to hear. Trump wanted to fire union workers for striking. It is doubtful that he has changed his position on that. They’re just trawling for votes-in the wrong place. They’re getting very desperate at this point, as polls continue to show Harris surging past Trump.

The Hill reported that a recent Fox “News” poll showed Harris now leading in four of the Sun Belt states. Though that lead is small right now, look at how far Harris has come since she entered the race approximately one month ago. Trump is leading in North Carolina by one point in this poll, but 538 has reclassified North Carolina as a toss-up. When Biden was still in the race, Trump led him in each of these states. Harris has gained six points in Arizona, eight in Georgia, and seven in Nevada. In North Carolina, Trump led Biden by 5 points, but Harris has closed the gap to 1 point (or less). Unlike many polls, the Fox poll surveyed way more than the typical 500 to 1,000 people.

USA Today also ran a poll, and it shows Harris leading Trump 48% to 43% across the nation, which is an eight-point gain for Harris. She has really made strides with Black, Hispanic, and young voters, but the surprise comes from those who earn less than $20,000 per year. USA Today reported that this group was going for Trump by three points in June, but Harris now holds a huge over Trump. No wonder he went so crazy when she took over for Biden. He might want to get used to it and begin preparing to flee the country as many believe he will do if he loses.
